recently i was in malaysia visited this mall called “Low yat Plaza” Its one of the best place to check out tech and electronics stuff in kuala Lumpur malaysia, you could  compare and say its 5 floors of “best buy”  you might not find the products as cheap or good deals as you could find in USA but still if you have time and patience and can look around  hunt you can find good stuff,deals, and value for money price  and if you got skills if you can bargain then nothing like it

yes you should try your bargaining skills even on places where they say fixed price.. try it …… if the sales man removes his calculator and starts punching some numbers that mean he ready for bargain …… you should remove your cellphone and start punching some numbers

pretend you like the product, really interested and only thing which is stopping you from buying it is the price but you still making effort  converting quoted price  between malaysian ringgits to USD $ or indian rupees etc trying  to see if feasible for your budget  etc etc

also make sure you check out shops on all the floor, because just going to different shop for the same product you could save anywhere between 10$ to 50 $ easily

its been almost more then 10 days since i got my apple macbook & i love every bit of it, it has been an awesome experience, i have been busy with my exams/ checks & traveling etc

my first day on apple macbook its awesome, so is the safari internet browser it simply rocks …

love the whole experience till now….. just until ,  i was suppose to pay my vodafone cell phone bill and as usual tried to login to my vodafone account at vodafone india website as earlier only exception being thi time using my new macbook and used apple safari internet browser

annoyed that the vodafone india website doesnt support apple safari internet browser this sucks ….

 i refuse to clutter my new laptop by installing second internet browser i.e  install firefox mac or internet explorer (dont know if there is internet explorer version for apple mac lol who would install that ? ) anyways coming back to my point  i refused to install another browser in order to just use vodafone site

ill probably inform their customer support but know crapy support i doubt they would do anything to improve their website in order for it to work with apple macs safari browser 

till then ill have to figure out another way to pay my phone bill

everyone has different reasons Here my reason why i decided to shift from Sony vaio to Apple macbook

My old Laptop Sony vaio VGN-FS 740/W its been 3 years now , Looks wise it still beat any of those crappy designed dell,Hp toshiba etc etc But as its old laptop performance wise its become slow Thats even after upgrading memory to 1GB the processor still slow Centrino 1.7Gh

So this time around when i decided to buy New laptop i was sure it would be any of new Vaio model i was so happy with my old laptop it never gave me a problem and the vaio support was excellent so i knew when it comes to quality i can blindly trust sony vaio

So what prompted me to Shift to Apple Macbook ?
I was looking for Small 13″ laptop , should be fast, Powerful & Feature packed, as i have never used mac there was This curiosity and excitement of trying something new ,

and all those people Claiming and yelling from top of their voice that Apple mac technology and usability wise they suppose to be much more superior to windows so i thought why not give it a try

Another reason what pushed me was even in worst case scenario if i need windows There was ability to install windows using bootcamp

as i travel a lot Macbook seem perfect choice, being small it would perfectly fit in my flight Bag too

yesterday i got a mail from apple store at oakbrook, USA confirming my purchase of first apple product i own ipod so,actually First apple macbook computer

macbook white model 2.4 gh ,2gb ram, 160 gig hard disk + apple care protection plan

now i am proud owner of apple macbook and can truly call myself macbook guy thats another thing that i would still need to wait few more days before i actually recieve it and begin to play around

After i was convinced i would be going ahead and buying my first mac i.e macbook the next question where do i buy it from india or USA ?

Here is a Comparison taking into account the price mentioned on the respective website i.e Apple store website USA and price mentioned from Apple Store india without taking into account the Local tax duty etc etc

Buy it from USA ?

I would buy it From USA, after all 325$ you could buy lot of apple accessories or probably add 75$ more and you could even purchase iphone if you wish

it all comes down to would you be able to nag your Friend/ relative / distant uncle or aunty who traveling to USA or live their and paying you visit soon and yes its perfectly legal

RULE says
One laptop computer (notebook computer) over and above the said free allowances mentioned above is also allowed duty free if imported by any passenger of the age of 18 years and above

if you would buy from USA what about warranty/guarantee ?

i had bought my sony vaio from USA too it had global warranty which was valid in india as well so i am guessing it would be same case with Apple that its wararanty would be global need to check up on this just to confirm

today was First time i saw apple macbook advertisement in Indian news paper

surprisingly i wasn’t aware there were these many apple authorized resellers in india, i was under the impression that there was only one apple store in mumbai, which is the one i have visited its  apple premium reseller , imagine store which is located atria mall worli : mumbai

its good having a store presence , now you have option to physically check the product at store before you decide to start nagging your friend/relatives aunt uncle etc to buy and get apple macbook from USA
